Kefalonia

Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands in western Greece, known for dramatic limestone cliffs, turquoise coves, mountain landscapes, and elegant Venetian-influenced villages. It feels less party-centric than some Greek islands, offering a mix of nature, relaxed seaside life, and refined harbor towns.

Vibe: Scenic, laid-back, authentic, with pockets of low-key luxury
Best for: Nature lovers, swimmers, couples, photographers, road-trippers
Getting around: A rental car is strongly recommended due to mountainous terrain and spread-out highlights.
